Bronze me Rhianna!

Hi All!

Can everyone just take 5 seconds to reminisce the moment we all heard Fenty beauty was launching in Boots.

Friday 10th May 2019, Rhianna's makeup Brand Fenty Beauty finally made it's launch in Boots, and even though i'm meant to be saving, i cannot help but feel excited to go into boots and spend (then cry later).

Despite not owning everything Fenty, i have slightly dabbled into the brand owning some products aswell as making a recent purchase of the Bronzer.

If there is one thing in my beauty routine that i cannot live without is, bronzer. The staple make product defines my face without being too harsh and makes me look alive and healthy.

Now I'm not really someone that goes crazy with buying bronzers, i usually find one or two and stick with them. My everyday bronzer is the Nyx body bronzer, which is my fave because it just gets the job done, no kerfuffle, just straight to it.

But when Rhianna launches a new bronzer, you know the moment has arrived to update your bronzer collection.

The Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r bronzer, retails for £23. I personally don’t find this to be too expensive, as it hits the same price mark of all the products. It’s affordable but still has a high end price, and is also £3 cheaper than everyones favourite, the Benefit Hoola bronzer.

I was slightly disappointed with the amount of product you receive in the Fenty Bronzer, which only has 6.23g. On the other hand, the Benefit Hoola bronzer has 8g.

Is it worth paying the extra £3 for more product?

Either way, it didn’t stop me from doing some damage; I purchased the bronzer in the shade island ting (medium shade with neutral undertones).

I love the packaging of the bronzer, which holds the well known hexagon shape. Unlike the white outer finishing for the highlighters, the bronzer has an outer mirrored gold effect which I absolutely love! It makes the product feel and look on the higher end side but also goes well with the concept of being bronzed, golden and sunlit.

It’s not particularly bulky making it a great fit for our handbags. The mirror also gives the perfect extra touch needed for travelling.

There are 8 shades to choose from, ranging from fair to deeper skin tones, which is brilliant! We can always appreciate a brand when it caters to different skin tones.

The description that accompanies the bronzer describes the various undertones, with most being neutral and some encompassing warmer and red undertones.

For me, I personally found island ting to be a perfect fit for my complexion. It has a lovely matte texture, that isn't too harsh on my skin but is rather easy to blend, creating a more natural subtle bronze. However, it did take a few dips into the product for it to really build on to my skin.

I’m not hating on this, as it allows me to build my bronzer to the way I like it. I mean we call relate to creating a harsh line with that first initial stroke and then hitting our faces with a beauty blender in full panic mode because you feel like your whole makeup look is ruined.

On the other hand, it does sort of hurt knowing I’m using more product and will probably hit pan quicker.

Overall, i do like the new Fenty Beauty, Sun Stalk'r instant warmth bronzer, despite it being a bit of a mouthful to say.

It's an affordable, wonderfully packaged bronzer, that is perfect for all skin tones and undertones, giving a natural golden effect.

However, it is slightly hyped due to being part of Rhianna's brand, but its not a product i would particularly go crazy over. I believe you can get away with buying a better bronzer for either a couple of pounds more as well as a couple of pounds less.

Let me know what your thoughts are!
As well as if your excited to see Fenty Beauty to come to Boots (because i am).
